Audio & Display settings: Privacy Mode, microphone & screen sharing

Test your microphone, turn on Privacy Mode to hide patient information, and enable screen sharing so our support team can help you in real time.

The Audio & Display section of Settings controls how Eluve captures audio and how sensitive information is shown on your screen. Click Settings (lower-left), then Audio & Display.

Microphone settings and testing

Choose your microphone and test it to make sure Eluve is picking up sound clearly before you record. Good audio is the single biggest factor in note quality. See Eluve Best Practices for Clinicians for placement tips.

Sound effect notifications

Turn Eluve's sound notifications on or off.

Privacy Mode

Privacy Mode hides sensitive patient information (PII) on your screen, useful when you're in a shared space or screen sharing.

  • Toggle it in Audio & Display, or use the shortcut Shift + P.

Appointment Owner Display

Control how the appointment owner is displayed.

Share Screen Support

Need hands-on help? Share Screen Support lets our tech team see your screen in real time to troubleshoot with you. For your security, it turns off automatically after 48 hours.
