Reviewing your generated note: the Summary and Transcript tabs

Where your SOAP note appears after recording, how it's structured, how to edit it, and where to find the full session transcript.

After you click Generate Note, Eluve produces your clinical note automatically. Here's how to review it.

The Summary tab

Your clinical note appears in the Summary tab. SOAP notes are separated into the Subjective, Objective, Assessment, and Plan sections, and the bolded sub-headers within each section change based on what happened in the session.

  • Review the note for accuracy and make any changes you need.

  • Everything is fully editable, and all changes are saved automatically.

💡 Want to change how notes are written going forward, or fix one note quickly? See the articles "Customizing your notes with Custom Instructions" and "Improve Notes: dictate edits to a single note". To switch the note's template, see Regenerating notes.

The Transcript tab

Click the Transcript tab for a full transcript of your recorded session. If you ever forget what was discussed or need a specific detail from the visit, the transcript is a helpful reference.

The Client Recap

Eluve also automatically drafts a plain-language client recap summarizing the session, findings, plan, and details like home exercises. See Sending client recap via Google Mail for how to send it.

Share your feedback on the note

After each note is generated, let us know your thoughts by answering "Was this medical summary helpful?" with Yes or No, and add any specifics on how the note could be improved. Your feedback helps us make Eluve better. We actively monitor and respond to feedback.
